英文法書　「English grammar in use」から

I regret doing something
=I did it and now I'm sorry about it　（～を後悔する）

I regret to do
=I'm sorry that I have to say　（・・・であることを残念に思う）

example
I now regret saying what I said. I shouldn't have said it.

We regret to inform you that we cannot offer you the job.

question　
sayを用いて空欄を埋めなさい。

I believe that what I said was fair. I don't regret..................................it.

I knew they were in trouble, but I regret..............................I did nothing to help them.

I reached your Blog by your footprint.
At first, thank you for your dropping in.

I practiced about “regret” below.
I regretted that I did not study English enough as I was student.
So I began study English again about seven years ago.
I tried to study Chinese at the same time, but I regretted that I could not keep up it.
However, I do not regret not beginning the study Chinese, because I am continuing my English study as yet.
I think that continuation is most important power.
Also, if I get time, I hope to try to study Chinese.
But, I think that English is a big monster!
I worry whether I can reach to Chinese?

thank you for coming to my blog.
I agree with you !
Yes! I think English is a big monster too !!
really difficult and profound language.
It's really hard to study two languages at the same time !
I doubt If I can continue this blog ...actually(><)
Maybe sometimes it's very important to concentrate on
one language when you don't have enough time.
The most important thing is there is no any stress
and you have a fun when you are studying☆

My mother is Taiwanese so I can teach you some simple Chinese
whenever you want （＾０＾）
My Chinese is not so fluent so that why I'm studying Chinese..
